DIY Craft Ideas

I always find a ton of DIY stuff on Pinterest that I want to make…the hard part is actually finding the time to go buy the products, and make it! I have made DIY gifts before for my BF, and tried this DIY workout tank top last month. I always feel accomplished once I see the finished product.

So, today I wanted to put up a little list of things I want to make, and perhaps inspire you too. Also, let me know what crafts you want to make, because I always like new ideas!

1. DIY Beer Tray

How cute is this beer tray from DIY Playbook? It takes a decent amount of work, but I think Dan would love this. Well, at least I have one items you need: Mod Podge. I’ll keep you posted on if this happens 😉

2. No-Sew Pillow Covers

This has been on my list too. My mom has a ton of left over fabric since she designs custom draperies. I want to use some of that fabric to decorate some throw pillows for my bed.

3. Picture Map

I found this on Pinterest and can’t find the original source. This is so cute! When Dan and I move in together, I definitely want to make this. We have only been to a handful of states together, but we plan on traveling a lot once we can!

4. Twisted Hairband

Another one I found on Pinterest, but the link it goes to isn’t anything. But here is the pin if you want to see exactly how it is done. I need to stop wearing my hair in a bun/ponytail every day and try something new. I will have to use this the next time I go out to dinner or out with friends.

5. DIY “Sweaty Bands”

This blogger made her own DIY Sweaty Bands for the gym. I know a lot of people love Sweaty Bands, but if you’re feeling crafty you can try making them yourself too! I haven’t actually tried one, but am curious to try and make one. My only question is how does the velvet not get super wet and sweaty/smelly?

I will keep you posted on my DIY Craft To-Do list and what I end up checking off. I think the first thing I’ll try is that easy hair-do 🙂
