Health/Fitness Links To Get You Through The Day

Happy 12-12-12! This week has been going by so slowwwww. Probably due to the fact that it’s the end of the semester and I just need it to be winter break already!

Here are some healthy links for you today =)

  • 8 Stocking Stuffers for Fitness Lovers (Livestrong) – There are some good ideas in here. My favorite is the lacrosse ball. I use a tennis ball on my glutes all the time and it KILLS, but feels so good at the same time.
  • Boredom Buster Treadmill Workout (Blonde Ponytail) – Just reading this workout is making me sweat!
  • How to do the Perfect Squat (Greatist) – MUST READ. 1) squats are one of the best exercises in my opinion, you should have them in your training program 2) it is SO (cannot emphasize this enough) important to have good form. I would even say get a trainer to show you how to do it once (and this article says it too). It covers a variety of squat forms and how to do them. Please check it out!
  • 3 Favorite Hotel Room Exercises (Fit Bottomed Girls) – Surprise surprise…squats are in here! She covers squats, lunges, and pushups. All great bodyweight exercises that can be done anywhere.
